Corrie Bain
Leading Ceramics Artist
Corrie Bain studied Ceramics, Design and Applied Arts at Alfred University in New York & Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree in 2003.
She has founded two ceramics schools and has been a full-time ceramist & tutor for two decades, working in Greece, Spain, Korea, & China.
Corrie recently won Third Prize at the CICA International Ceramics Competition of Alcora Museum, was selected as one of 302 artists leading the Korean International Ceramic Biennale in 2019, & is nominated to become a member of the International Academy of Ceramics.
Her work has been featured in books such as The Encyclopedia of Ceramics by Peter Consentino, & magazines such as the Ceramic Review, Ceramics Monthly, New Ceramics & Revista Cerámica.
Corrie is the Founding Director of the Corrie Bain Ceramics School in Barcelona.
